Anna King, unexpectedly diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy at the age of 12, received a life-saving heart transplant at TCH at the age of 14 in 2014. Thanks to an organ donor and dedicated doctors, she is now a healthy 25-year-old marketing professional in Houston. Known for her humor, she has been an advocate since her diagnosis, speaking at events from classrooms to a 4,000-person convention.
