Dr. Klein joined UNOS as CMO after servings as founding director of the Johns Hopkins and Cedars-Sinai Transplant Centers. He earned a BS from Duke, MD and MBA from Johns Hopkins and completed fellowships at Harvard and UCLA. He has authored over 200 manuscripts and book chapters. He has received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Johns Hopkins who inducted him into the Society of Scholars. Dr. Klein has a keen interest in the relationship between civility and tangible benefits in healthcare.
